Payment & Tax Policy

Accepted Payment Methods
We gladly accept the following payment methods: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Please take a moment to enter your card details carefully. If you’re using a prepaid card, kindly ensure it has enough funds before placing your order. Unfortunately, we do not accept personal checks, money orders, or cash.

Installment Payments
At this time, we do not offer installment plans or “buy now, pay later” options. Full payment is required at checkout to secure your order.

Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, please reach out directly to your financial institution. This can happen due to insufficient funds, billing information mismatches, or bank restrictions. We appreciate your understanding as these matters are best resolved with your card provider.

Double Charges & Authorization Holds
If you notice what looks like a duplicate charge on your statement, it might be an authorization hold—a temporary hold by your bank to verify funds. We only process one charge per order. These holds usually disappear within a few business days. If the hold persists, please contact your bank or card issuer directly.

Pre-Orders & Payment Timing
All pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase to reserve your item. These items follow a quarterly release schedule and typically ship within 3–4 months from your order date. Please check the product page to see the specific shipping quarter. Orders with only in-stock items usually ship within 2–3 business days. To avoid shipping delays, we recommend placing separate orders for in-stock and pre-order items.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Once your order is placed, it’s sent directly to our fulfillment center and can’t be changed or canceled, including pre-orders. We encourage you to double-check your order details before completing your purchase. If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us right away by opening a ticket using the Help icon at the bottom right of this page. While we can’t guarantee changes, we’ll do our best to assist if your order hasn’t yet shipped.

Order Review & Fraud Protection
To keep our community safe, all orders are reviewed before processing. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or hold shipments if an order is flagged as high-risk, linked to previous issues, or involves multiple failed payments. If your order is canceled, we’ll notify you promptly and issue a refund.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is applied to orders shipped within California in accordance with state and local regulations. In-person purchases made in Nevada at conventions such as Level Up Expo or EVO are subject to Nevada’s local sales tax. We do not charge sales tax on online orders shipped outside of California.

Final Sale Policy
Please note that SHOP ATLUS operates under a final sale policy. Because much of our merchandise is custom-designed and often produced to order, we kindly ask for your understanding that cancellations, returns, or refunds cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your support and understanding.
